An Israeli strike targeted the upscale Mazze district in Damascus on Friday, announced the official Syrian news agency Sana, the second such raid in two days.
“An Israeli aggression targeted Mazze,” said the agency, referring to the district which is home to embassies, security institutions and U.N. headquarters. The day before, deadly strikes targeted the same district, as well as the town of Qoudsaya on the outskirts of the Syrian capital.
