Burj al-Barajneh, in the southern suburbs of Beirut, was hit by Israeli aircraft shortly after 10 a.m. on Thursday, according to local media.
The strike came after a second call by the Israeli army to evacuate Burj al-Barajneh and Ghobeiri, in anticipation of strikes.
“You are near Hezbollah infrastructure,” warned Arabic-speaking Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee in a message on the X network, asking residents to evacuate two buildings in the surrounding area "at least 500 meters away."
The two buildings targeted are located in Burj al-Barajneh near the al-Burj stadium and in Ghobeiri near the headquarters of the Internet service provider Inconet Data Management (IDM).
The Israeli army had already called on Ghobeiri residents to evacuate their buildings shortly after 6 a.m. before three strikes, two by drone and one by fighter plane, according to the official National News Agency (NNA).
