The Israeli army has once again called for the evacuation of several villages in southern Lebanon, including the districts of Sour, Bint Jbeil and Marjayoun.
In a posting on X, Arabic-speaking army spokesman Avichay Adraee called for the evacuation of Shihine, Jibbayn, Tayr Harfa, Abou Shash, Shamaa, Majdal Zoun, Mansouri, Zibqine, Rashidieh, Bourgholieh, Qassemiieh, Biyada, Naqoura, Bint Jbeil, Ainata, Kounin, Aitaroun, Taybeh, Rabb Thalathin, Markaba and Bani Hayan.
The call to evacuate “north of the Awali,” a river whose mouth lies north of Saida, was made in anticipation of strikes on these regions “against Hezbollah.”
