Israel’s caretaker Foreign Minister Israel Katz on Wednesday praised Donald Trump’s claimed victory in the U.S. presidential election, asserting that Israel and the United States will remain "steadfast" against Iran, their shared adversary.
"Together, we will strengthen the U.S.-Israel alliance, bring home hostages, and remain firm in defeating the axis of evil led by Iran," he said on X, a day after being appointed as Defense Minister.
