An Israeli strike on Haret Saida has killed at least seven people, according to information gathered by our correspondent Mountasser Abdallah, who also reports 20 injured.

The air raid, launched shortly before 6 p.m., destroyed three residential buildings opposite the Sayyed al-Shouhada complex, located a few 100 meters from a Lebanese Army barracks and sheltering displaced persons. No prior warning had been given by the Israeli army.

This is the second time that Haret Saida, a Shiite suburb of the large city in southern Lebanon, some 60 km from the Blue Line, has been targeted since the start of the war. Last Sunday, an Israeli drone strike in the area left eight people dead and 25 wounded.

Hospitals in the city of Saida launched an appeal announcing that they urgently needed blood units of all blood types.

The Lebanese Army set up a security cordon to facilitate the arrival of rescue teams and ambulances, and to protect the safety of citizens.
