Gaza's Health Ministry announced on Monday a new death toll of 43,020 in the Palestinian territory since the start of the war with Israel over a year ago.
At least 96 people have been killed in the last 48 hours, it said in a statement, adding that 101,110 people had been wounded in the Gaza Strip since the start of the war.
