Hezbollah claimed responsibility for at least eight “exploding drone” attacks on northern Israel throughout the day, reportedly wounding two people, according to Israeli emergency services cited by Haaretz.
Since the morning, the party has claimed attacks on a military equipment factory in Yodfat, southeast of Acre and nearly 30 kilometers from the border, as well as on the Bar-Lev industrial zone in the same area. Later, Haaretz, citing the Israeli emergency service Magen David Adom, reported that a 61-year-old man was moderately wounded and a 31-year-old was slightly injured in the attack on Bar-Lev.
Hezbollah also targeted Israeli soldiers gathered at the northern entrance to the al-Marj site, as well as troops in Menara and various Israeli localities, including Kfar Yuval, Sa’sa’, Zar’it, and Shomera. These areas lie just a few kilometers from the Lebanese border.
None of these strikes targeted the areas Hezbollah had called for evacuation in a Hebrew statement on Saturday, covering around 20 localities.
On Oct. 13, a Hezbollah drone attack on a military canteen in Binyamina, near Haifa, killed four Israeli soldiers and wounded at least 61 others.
