Trafficker arrested for attempted hashish shipment to 'Arab country'

The Internal Security Forces (ISF) announced the arrest of a Lebanese man, born in 2000, suspected of attempting to traffic hashish concealed in pastry boxes to an undisclosed Arab country, reported the National News Agency (NNA) citing an ISF statement issued on Thursday evening. 

The arrest occurred ten days ago in Bakhoun, Denniyeh in North Lebanon, where authorities discovered 17.6 kilos of hashish at the home of one of his accomplices. A third suspect, also believed to be involved, remains at large.
