Hezbollah announced it launched rockets Sunday on Haifa, the main port city in northern Israel, a few hours after three Israeli strikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut.
In a statement, the party said its fighters launched "a barrage of rockets" on the city of Haifa "in response" to the attacks on the southern suburb of Beirut, which has been bombarded by Israeli air force for nearly a month.
