BEIRUT — Hussein Wajeh, the media advisor to Future Movement leader Saad Hariri, said Sunday that Future TV's website and social media platforms would resume operations starting that day.
The Future TV website had been inactive for years. In 2022, Hariri suspended his political career and the political work of the Future Movement for many reasons including Iran's influence in Lebanon.
On Sunday, Wajeh announced the resumption of Future TV's website on X and expressed his hope that this step would "contribute to keeping up with the fateful events that are taking place and confirm the continuity of a national institution that has had a significant impact in the field of media."
