The Israeli army claims to have targeted ''Hezbollah's intelligence headquarters and an underground weapons production workshop in Beirut,'' reported its Arabic spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, on X, on Sunday. ''Dozens of terrorist targets, terrorist cells, missile launch platforms and military buildings'' were also targeted, he added. ''The 146th, 91st, 36th and 98th divisions continue ground operations in southern Lebanon to destroy Hezbollah's infrastructure,'' he continued, noting that Golani Brigade fighters killed Hezbollah members in several clashes.
Avichay Adraee further added that at least ''65 Hezbollah terrorists'' in southern Lebanon were killed in the past few hours, in another post on X. He also claimed that his army ''attacked and eliminated three senior saboteurs'' within the party. Israeli air force planes struck the area around Tebnin in the Bint Jbeil district, and killed ''Hajj Abbas Salamé,'' a ''senior commander'' of Hezbollah's southern front, according to Avichay Adraee. Two other members of the party, Abbas Awada, described as a ''telecommunications expert,'' and Ahmad Ali Hussein, a ''production team leader responsible for arming Hezbollah,'' were also killed, according to the Israeli army's Arabic spokesperson.
