At around 5:45 a.m. on Sunday, new airstrikes hit the southern suburbs of Beirut.
An hour prior, the Israeli army had issued an evacuation order to residents in two neighborhoods, Haret Hreik and Hadath, warning of imminent strikes on buildings allegedly housing Hezbollah facilities. The targeted buildings, situated in the Haret Hreik and Hadath Beirut neighborhoods, were named in an official statement from the Israeli military.
"You are near Hezbollah-affiliated facilities that the Israeli army will strike soon," read the warning issued by military spokesperson Avichay Adraee. He urged residents to evacuate immediately, moving at least 500 meters away for safety.
This followed heavy Israeli air raids on the same area the previous afternoon.
