Five people were killed on Friday in an Israeli strike on the road between Baaloul and Qaraoun in the Bekaa, according to our local correspondent, Sarah Abdallah, and the official National Information Agency (NNA).
Among the victims was Haidar Chahla, head of the municipality of Sohmor in the western Bekaa. Our correspondent in the Bekaa reported that several other people were also slightly injured.
