Her face is familiar to her 850,000 followers. On Instagram, for months, she has been recounting the brutal realities of the war in Gaza, through the eyes of a child. This little girl, with a smile on her face, dressed in jeans and a T-shirt, eloquently denounces the Israeli occupation and the violence that pushed her into exile. At nine years old, Lama Jamous is the youngest war reporter in history. It is by experiencing forced displacement and devastating losses that she decides to film her life and that of the children of Gaza. A way of existing, but also of making everyone hear the suffering of a people. From November 2023, she begins to interview Gazans her age, in hospitals, makeshift camps, or even refugee shelters.
