No aid has been allowed to enter northern Gaza Strip since Oct. 1st, a Gaza government official told Al Jazeera. While trucks have reached Gaza City, they have not been able to enter the Jabalia camp or other areas besieged and relentlessly bombarded by the Israeli army since the beginning of the month.

The official described the situation as "extremely difficult" due to shortages of food and water. The United Nations is trying to bring aid to Jabalia, but Israeli forces are blocking access, the official added.

Earlier on Monday, Israeli authorities claimed that 30 trucks carrying humanitarian aid were able to enter the Palestinian enclave, according to Haaretz.
