BEIRUT — Titled “Our capabilities are very good,” Hezbollah’s media warfare unit released a video Monday showcasing some of the party's weapons and military capabilities.

According to the War Noir X page, run by a weapons and conflicts researcher, Hezbollah displayed "Iran-made Ababil-2T kamikaze drones, Sayyad pattern drones and Soviet AKS-74U carbines."

The ODIN program, associated with the U.S. Army's Training and Doctrine Command explained that the Ababil-2, is an Iranian tactical unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).

“The Ababil-2 features an improved flight-control system, with its most common variant being a target drone used for training air-defense crews. While it has rudimentary surveillance capabilities and can be deployed as a loitering munition, its primary function remains that of a target drone.”

The video also shows an image of slain Hezbollah commander Fouad Shukur who was assassinated by Israel in the southern suburbs of Beirut in late July.

The Israeli army claimed that Shukur was "responsible for Hezbollah's precision missile project," which it describes as "a highly secured and classified project, so much so that not only the Lebanese government is unaware of it, but several high-ranking Hezbollah and Iranian officials are also not informed."

Hezbollah attacked the city of Binyamina in Israel on Sunday night, south of Haifa, in retaliation for Israeli strikes on Beirut last Thursday, which resulted in the deaths of 22 people.

Later, Hezbollah claimed it targeted Israel's elite Golani Brigade, launching dozens of missiles to overwhelm Israeli air defense systems during the assault by "squadrons" of drones. Israel reported that four Israeli soldiers were killed in the attack.

In the past few weeks Hezbollah had several of its key figures assassinated including the elimination of its high command, including its Secretary General, Hassan Nasrallah. Several media outlets had reported a "decrease in the party's capabilities."
