According to the latest toll of the Israeli bombings in Lebanon since the escalation began on September 23, published Wednesday by the Lebanese Ministry of Health, Lebanon now counts 2,141 killed and 10,099 injured.
On Tuesday alone, 22 killed and 80 injured were reported.
By region, Tuesday saw 12 killed and 37 injured in Southern Lebanon, two killed and 34 injured in Nabatieh, and one killed and two injured in Baalbek-Hermel. The regions of Southern Lebanon, Nabatieh, the Bekaa, especially Northern Bekaa, and the southern suburbs of Beirut, are being bombarded daily by Israeli aviation.
This Israeli escalation has also driven over a million Lebanese to internal displacement. The war between Hezbollah and Israel began on October 8, 2023, when the party opened a support front with Gaza.
