An Israeli strike on Tuesday evening in Kfar Tibnit (Nabatiyeh) "completely destroyed residential buildings and businesses," according to the mayor of the locality, Fouad Yassine, as reported by the National Information Agency (NNA).
"We worked late into the night to clear the debris, but our resources were limited... We resumed when daylight broke," said Mr. Yassine.The Civil Defense was able to complete the clearing of the site on Wednesday morning, according to NNA.
The strike resulted in two deaths, according to the NNA, including a state security agent, Mohammad Idriss, who was at home during the attack that hit the southern entrance of Kfar Tibnit.
