In a statement from its "operations center," Hezbollah also claimed that the Israeli army has so far "failed to enter the impregnable villages" in the South and that it will continue to counter all incursion attempts. It reported "heavy casualties" of "more than thirty dead and 200 injured" in Israeli ranks.
In a belligerent tone, the party further threatened that Haifa "and others" will end up "like Kiryat Shmona, Metula, and other Israeli localities in the North" which are hit almost daily. "We are capable of reaching wherever we want," it stated, asserting that it will not limit itself to "missile or drone strikes."
