Hezbollah claims to have repelled 'infiltrating' Israeli soldiers near UNIFIL position

At 2 a.m. last night, Hezbollah announced that it had repelled an infiltration attempt by Israeli soldiers, who were heading for Labbouneh in the Sour district with "construction equipment and vehicles."

The party's fighters attacked them with artillery and missile fire, according to a statement. This announcement comes as the Israeli army said earlier this morning that it had extended its "ground operations" in south-west Lebanon.
