Several consecutive Israeli strikes targeted the southern suburbs of Beirut on Thursday afternoon. Explosions were heard throughout the capital and beyond, while plumes of smoke rose above the targeted neighborhoods.
Three strikes hit different areas, including Haret Hreik, according to the National Information Agency (NNA). No warning had been issued by the Israeli army before these raids.
According to a source in Hezbollah contacted by our correspondent, the Israeli strikes in the southern suburbs of Beirut targeted the party's press office.
Alongside these strikes, a bombardment was reported in Kayfoun, in the Aley district in the heights of the capital, as well as in Maaysra, in Kesrouan.
