The Israeli army said it began a ground operation in southern Lebanon. For the time being, we cannot speak of a real invasion, but of occasional raids on some border sites, which could be the prelude to one. Hezbollah said that the Israelis have not succeeded in penetrating Lebanese territory, but refers to cross-border fighting.
