Israel carried out at least six strikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut from Monday night to Tuesday, after the Israeli army called on the residents of Hezbollah's stronghold to evacuate, a Lebanese security official told AFP. "Six or seven Israeli strikes hit the southern suburbs of Beirut," said the official, who requested anonymity.
The strikes caused the destruction of several buildings, primarily residential complexes stated the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA). According to local media, the Israeli strikes targeted neighborhoods that were not mentioned in the evacuation orders issued by the Israeli army around 11 p.m.
