The "Islamic Resistance in Iraq" claimed a new strike early Tuesday against "a target in the occupied Golan" by Israel. This was the only strike claimed by the Iran-aligned militia group on Monday, following five others announced on Sunday in support of Gaza.

The strike from Monday night to Tuesday was carried out using drones, according to a statement released by the group around 2 a.m. The Resistance in Iraq also published a video showing the launch of at least two "Arfed" type drones.

The Israeli army has not reported intercepting any drones coming from the eastern part of the country, nor indicated that such a device entered Israeli airspace.
