The death toll from the Israeli attack that hit a residential building in southern Beirut on Friday has risen to 52 killed and 9 missing, after the discovery of another body under the rubble, the Civil Defense reported Monday. The attack also left 66 injured.

The raid, during which the Israeli air force used four missiles, targeted and killed the de facto leader of Hezbollah's elite al-Radwan force, Ibrahim Aqil, who was meeting in the building's underground parking lot with other high-ranking members of the unit at the time. Another commander, Ahmad Wehbe, responsible for training within the same force and a former leader of the unit, along with 14 other "high-ranking" officials and numerous civilians, were among the casualties.
