In a statement, the office of caretaker Prime Minister Nagib Mikati announced that the Cabinet will meet this Monday at 11 a.m. to continue reviewing the draft budget for 2025, prepared by outgoing Minister Youssef Khalil and submitted at the end of August. The executive began its examination of the document on Sept. 11 during a last-minute meeting called in response to protests from military personnel and other retired armed forces.
