A young man from the town of Qleiaat in Akkar, northern Lebanon, died Thursday after being electrocuted while working on an electrical installation at a client's home in the village of Sammouniyé, according to our correspondent in the region, Michel Hallak.
The victim was transported in critical condition to Al-Kheir Hospital in Minyeh but was pronounced dead upon arrival, according to a hospital source. The exact circumstances of his death have not been disclosed at the request of his family.
Security services are continuing their investigation while awaiting the report from the forensic doctor who is examining the body, our correspondent adds.
