A major fire contained in Akkar

A major fire that erupted in green spaces and spread to the Tall Jbeil forests on the outskirts of Meshmesh in Akkar, northern Lebanon, was brought under control by the end of the day, reported our correspondent Michel Hallak.Civil Defense teams and volunteers from the Dareb Akkar association were deployed in the afternoon to combat the blaze.
