The Lebanese Civil Defense has successfully brought under control a fire that broke out in Syrian refugee tents in Kneiseh, Akkar (North Lebanon), reports our correspondent in the region. The fire, which caused material damage and whose cause remains unknown, did not result in any injuries.
Numerous fires have broken out in northern Lebanon since the beginning of the summer. The causes of many of them have not been identified, but the combination of drought and high temperatures creates favorable conditions for fires to spread rapidly.
