BEIRUT — A Lebanese army soldier was shot by his uncle in Tripoli following a family dispute on Tuesday, a security source told L'Orient Today.
The uncle shot the soldier in the Zahirieh neighborhood of Tripoli, before making an escape. The victim was transferred to Mazloum Hospital to receive treatment, according to our correspondent in the North, Michel Hallak.
Investigations have been launched into the incident. The circumstances that led to the family dispute remain unclear.
