Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman and Iranian President Ebrahim Raissi met in Riyadh on Saturday for the first time since Saudi Arabia and Iran restored diplomatic relations in March, the official Saudi SPA news agency reported.
The agency posted on X (formerly Twitter) a photo of the leaders of the two Middle East powers seated next to each other, on the sidelines of the summit of Arab and Muslim leaders on Gaza.
