A man and his pregnant wife were found dead, their throats slit, on Wednesday in a resort in Jbeil, reported the state-run National News Agency.
The man, a Syrian national, was an employee of the resort where the bodies were found, according to the NNA. The complex is normally under constant surveillance.
Security officers were deployed to the scene and opened an investigation.
Contacted by L'Orient-Le Jour, an Internal Security source did not disclose further information.
