Lebanese Army arrest 13 persons in Faour, Bekaa following armed family fight

BEIRUT — The Lebanese Army announced Monday that it arrested 13 people in Faour, Bekaa, including Lebanese and Syrian nationals, following an armed family fight.

The army added that "on Sunday, it raided houses of people who participated in the fight and seized military weapons and ammunition."

Finally, the army stated that "the seized items were handed over, and an investigation was launched with the detainees under the supervision of the judiciary."

Fights between families are common in the Bekaa and they often involve violent clashes.
