The Beirut International Airport saw an increase in its number of passengers in July 2023 compared to last year, the state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported.

According to the NNA, the number of passengers in July 2023 reached 924,000, which represents a 12.15 percent increase in comparison with July 2022.

This summer, beaches and restaurants across the country have consistently been fully booked.

In July, a spokesperson for More than a Bed, a company that manages more than 70 properties rented out on the Airbnb platform, told L'Orient Le-Jour that "all its addresses in Beirut had been fully booked since the run-up to the Adha holidays."
