BEIRUT — Beirut's Civil Defense on Monday morning found the body of a Lebanese man who drowned while he was swimming in the sea off Raouche on Saturday, the Civil Defense said in a statement.
The Civil Defense team, with the help of fishermen's boats, conducted a search for the past two days in an effort to locate Ali Abdullah, who was swimming off Raouche with another man who was saved on Saturday.
The two men apparently struggled with the current and rising tide, the Civil Defense said on Saturday.
The statement added that Abdullah's body was transferred to al-Zahra Hospital in Beirut.
