BEIRUT — Hezbollah supplied batches of diesel fuel to water pumping stations in Syroub, Villas, and Mieh Mieh in Saida on Tuesday, reported L’Orient Today’s correspondent in the south.

The fuel is part of a donation provided by Hezbollah periodically and distributed by Al-Amana Company, a network of gas stations affiliated with the party, over a period of 20 days to the water pumping stations at the wells of the South Lebanon Water Corporation in various neighborhoods and villages near Saida.

The delivery process was supervised by a delegation from the party.

Several hospitals, orphanages and organizations in Saida and across Lebanon have previously received Hezbollah-brokered Iranian fuel donations.

In 2021, Hezbollah had imported fuel oil and gasoline from Iran through Syria, when Lebanon suffered from severe shortages.
