BEIRUT — Fuel prices increased in Lebanon for the second time on Thursday, according to the latest tariffs announced by the Energy Ministry.
This increase comes as the Lebanese lira continues to fall on the parallel market, reaching LL106,000 to the US dollar at around 4 p.m.
Here are the new prices:
• Twenty liters of 95-octane gasoline: LL1,925,000, up by LL36,000
• Twenty liters of 98-octane gasoline: LL1,971,000, up by LL37,000
• Twenty liters of diesel: LL1,827,000, up by LL35,000
• Gas cylinder: LL1,297,000, up by LL25,000
• One kiloliter of fuel oil (used to supply private generators): unchanged at $801.05
