BEIRUT — Two students and their mother were injured after being hit by a car near a school in Tripoli, North Lebanon, on Monday, L'Orient Today's correspondent in the area reported.
The parent of another student was driving the car when the accident occurred as students were leaving the al-Islah school in Abi Samra in Tripoli.
The car's accelerator pedal was reportedly damaged.
The three people injured in the accident, a mother and her two daughters, were transported by the Red Cross and the Emergency and Relief Corps in Tripoli into Haikal Hospital.
