Second rise in fuel prices on Friday

BEIRUT — The Energy Ministry announced an increase in fuel prices, the second one on Friday.

This increase is linked to the depreciation of the Lebanese lira to the dollar on the parallel market.

Here are the new prices:

• Twenty liters of 95-octane gasoline: LL1,614,000, up by LL18,000

• Twenty liters of 98-octane gasoline: LL1,653,000, up by LL19,000

• Twenty liters of diesel: LL1,532,000, up by LL17,000

• The price of a domestic gas cylinder: LL1,094,000, up by LL12,000

• Kiloliter of fuel oil (used to supply private generators): $799.95, unchanged after a small $2.58 decrease announced in the morning tariff.
