BEIRUT — The Energy Ministry on Tuesday afternoon announced an increase in all fuel prices except for fuel oil. These prices hikes are the second issued by the ministry today, and follow the further depreciation of the Lebanese against the US dollar on the parallel market.
Here are the new prices:
• Twenty liters of 95-octane gasoline: LL1,599,000, up by LL54,000
• Twenty liters of 98-octane gasoline: LL1,638,000, up by LL56,000
• Twenty liters of diesel: LL1,521,000, up by LL52,000
• The price of a domestic gas cylinder: LL1,072,000, up by LL36,000
• Kiloliter of fuel oil (used to supply private generators): unchanged at $798.48
