Iran said Tuesday it was "very pleased" by the December talks between Ankara and Damascus, which marked their first direct talks since the outbreak of the Syrian Civil War 11 years ago.
"We are very pleased by the fact that relations between Damascus and Ankara are undergoing change," Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian told reporters after talks in Ankara with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu.
