BEIRUT — A security patrol in the Bekaa Valley raided a water bottling plant in the town of Aana on Wednesday, and found that it did not meet legal health and safety requirements, our correspondent in the area reported.

An inspection by the health ministry reportedly found that the plant illegally used water from the Bekaa Water Establishment.

Upon a judicial decision, the factory was placed under seal and its owner, who is currently under investigation, will remain in custody.
