An Irish UN peacekeeper in Lebanon died from a bullet to the head when seven projectiles pierced his vehicle, a Lebanese judicial source told AFP on Thursday.

Three other peacekeepers in the same vehicle were injured when they hit a pylon and overturned late Wednesday night in a village in the Hezbollah-dominated south of Lebanon, the source said.
