Iran's players sang their national anthem, albeit without enthusiasm, before their World Cup match with the USA on Tuesday.
The Iranians opted not to sing the anthem before their opening match in Qatar against England, in what was widely viewed as a sign of support for mass anti-government protests at home, but they did sing it before their second game against Wales.
