BEIRUT — A three-year-old girl died on Thursday in Saida, South Lebanon, while her parents and sister were admitted to hospital in a suspected case of poisoning, L'Orient Today's correspondent in South Lebanon reported.
Hospital tests are underway to determine the exact cause of the family's illness, our correspondent added.
The victim's parents were hospitalized at Saida's governmental hospital while her sister is the city's Hammoud Hospital. A doctor at the first health institution told our correspondent that the deceased girl arrived in a critical condition and could not be resuscitated. The other members of the family are suffering from vomiting.
