Iraqi Kurdish authorities condemn Iran's 'unjustifiable' strikes

The government of Iraq's autonomous Kurdistan region on Monday condemned "unjustifiable violations" following Iranian strikes targeting rebel groups accused of stoking protests in the Islamic Republic.

"The repeated violations that undermine the sovereignty of Iraq and the Kurdistan region are unjustifiable," a statement by the Kurdistan Regional Government said, after overnight strikes killed at least one fighter in the autonomous region.
