BEIRUT — Two Syrian children died in a fire on Sunday night in Nabatieh, South Lebanon, our correspondent in the area reported, adding that the children's mother sustained burns to her back while their father suffered smoke inhalation in the blaze, which occurred at their home.
The victims, A. A. and his brother R. A., were 4 and 6 years old. Their mother and father are 20 and 28 years old. An investigation has been opened into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
