A machine gun attack on a remote Iraqi military post killed four soldiers on Saturday, a military source said.
The source said the pre-dawn attack targeted the desert post near Kirkuk in northern Iraq, where remnants of the Islamic State group are active along with PKK rebels waging an insurgency against Turkey.
