BEIRUT — A fight broke out Monday between two families in the village of Kharayeb, South Lebanon, injuring four people including the local mayor, the state-run National News Agency reported.
According to the NNA, Kharayeb mayor Hassan al-Der intervened to stop the fight, in which sharp weapons were reportedly used.
The Lebanese Army and the Internal Security Forces were reportedly deployed to control the situation.
