BEIRUT — The body of a man was found midway up a high voltage electricity pole on the Mina highway in Tripoli, North Lebanon, on Tuesday morning, to L’Orient Today’s correspondent in the area reported.
Metal scissors were found under the pole, up which the victim had climbed, our correspondent added, saying it appeared the victim had died of electrocution.
Security forces and the Lebanese Red Cross quickly arrived on the scene to recover the body and hand it over to a forensic doctor for an autopsy.
